Electrically actuated solenoid valves

Solenoid valves

Solenoid valves allow you to turn water flow on and off using electrical control. The pressurized feed valve requires that the incoming fluid pressure is at least 3 psi to turn on and off properly. If you are running water from a gravity tank such as a rainwater catch tank, you must use the gravity feed valve instead.

Solenoid valve for pressurized feed water
¼” quick-connect (push in) tubing
Pressure range 3-90psi
175ºF maximum temperature
Body/seal: Nylon/NBR rubber
Power: 12VDC@400mAUse this valve to control your liquid flow. Simple on/off control using one of our valve control interfaces. This is a normally-closed electrically actuated solenoid valve. Apply 12 volts (DC) to the terminals and this valve will open and flow water, oil and non-corrosive liquids at pressures from 3 – 90 psi. Connect to this valve with ¼” OD (outer diameter) plastic tubing. No clamps or special tools are needed. The quick connect fitting grabs the tubing tightly and seals. Since water pressure is needed to open the diaphragm, this valve is not suitable for gravity feed unless the head distance (from top of liquid to valve) is at least 6 feet.

Gravity-feed Solenoid valve
Barb fitting for  ½” ID tubing
Pressure range 0-3 psi max
175ºF maximum temperature
Body/seal: Nylon/NBR rubber
Power: 12VDC@500mA

Use this valve to control your liquid flow. Simple on/off control using one of our valve control interfaces. This is a normally-closed electrically actuated solenoid valve for very low pressure or gravity-fed fluids such as water or oil. Apply 12 volts (DC) to the terminals and this valve will open and flow water, oil and non-corrosive liquids. Since this is designed for gravity-fed non-pressurized lines, a maximum head (vertical height from top of water to valve) of no more 7 feet must be maintained or the valve can be damaged from excess pressure.
